Participants that began on or after January 1, 2017 become 100% vested after completing 3 Years of Service. Participants that began prior to January 1, 2017 are immediately 100% vested.

When can I have access to my funds in my DC Plan account?

You may have access at the earlier of retirement, disability, age 59½ or severance from employment with all AMO Contributing Employers.

Can I make a contribution to my DC Plan account?

Contributions are made solely from AMO Contributing Employers.

Can I take a loan against my DC Plan account?

Loans are not permissible from your DC Plan account

You can check your balance by logging in to John Hancock website:

Will our contributions be made into an investment?
A.
If you do not provide investment instructions to the Plan with respect to some or all of the assets in your account, those assets will be invested in the age appropriate Vanguard Target Retirement Fund ("Fund"). The QDIA is designed to provide long-term appreciation and capital preservation by investing in an appropriate mix of equity and fixed-income securities that is determined based on your age. The age appropriate QDIA is based on your year of birth as specified below.

If you would like to reallocate your DC Plan account into other investment choices, log into
myplan.johnhancock.com and transfer your balance into other mutual funds with the DC Plan.

Will I receive a DC Plan account statement from AMO?
A.
You will receive a quarterly statement from John Hancock.
Q.
Do I need 200 days of service for a year of service in the DC Plan?
A.
100 days of Covered Employment equals one year of service under the DC Plan.
Q.
I have prior service under the SIU; will this time be credited under the DC Plan?
A.
Certain SIU service will be credited towards your DC Plan rate. Please see “SIU Service” under Calculation of DC Points in this booklet for details.
Q.
I have past service other than SIU; can this time be credited under the DC Plan?
A.
Only eligible SIU time will be counted towards your DC Plan Contribution rate.
